What to Wear

Newborn: Typically newborn photoshoots are done in the nude with added accessories and props. If you have any outfits, have them ready to go! We may not get to everything, so I always start with your favorites!

Toddler & Children: Kids look cute in just about everything! I suggest bringing several top options and just a couple bottoms that will work with everything. I love to help coordinate which outfit to use depending on our natural backdrop! It may be my personal preference, but stray away from wording, logos, or characters.

Maternity: I always tell mammas to be to bring options. I like doing a tight fit outfit to show off the belly, a flowy romantic dress or skirt that makes you feel beautiful, and I often use scarves to tie around the bust so we really show off the naked belly. There are some maternity photoshoot examples on my Pinterest board. Click: “Photoshoot Ideas”

Family: First of all, I want my clients to be comfortable and look like you! Just take a step further to consider what looks great in front of the camera. I encourage my clients to start with a color palette, and go from there. Try complimentary colors, and don’t be afraid to mix prints! Adding scarves, jewelry, or vests is a great way to tie everyone together. Feel free to bring options! I would love to help with your decisions!
